Agents are more useful when they can reach your real data and tools. Mibyan offers three ways to connect them, and one place to see everything that is available.
Integration or connector?
The database connector
The connector available today links Mibyan to your database using an encrypted connection string (DSN). Once connected, you can ask agents for SQL queries or visual reports built on your actual data.
Add the connection
Open Connectors, choose the database connector, and enter your connection string.
Test it
Run the built-in connection test before saving. Fix any network or credential problem it reports.
Save and ask
Save the connector, then ask in chat, for example: how many orders did we receive per week last month? Show it as a chart.
Create a read-only database user for the connector. Agents can then answer questions and build reports without any ability to change your data.
How credentials are protected
- Connection strings and tokens are stored encrypted in a secret vault.
- No one on the Mibyan team can read them, and they are never sent to AI models.
- You can disconnect the connector or rotate its credentials at any time from settings.
Google Workspace
Agents can work with your Google account after you connect it: read and draft email, create calendar events, and save deliverables to Drive. Google sign-in uses standard OAuth, and you can check the connection status at any time.
MCP servers and the marketplace
The Marketplace is a catalog of everything Mibyan can do: built-in tools ready to use, Google integrations, and MCP connectors for platforms such as Notion, GitHub, Supabase, Figma, and n8n. Search by service or tool name (for example, sql, figma, or gmail) and filter the list. After you connect an MCP server, its tools are discovered automatically.
Coming next
More connectors are in development, including a generic connector for any HTTP service, a webhook receiver for events from your systems, and cloud storage. If you have a non-standard internal system, such as an ERP, a banking system, or a government system, contact the Enterprise team about a custom connector.
Only connect systems you are authorized to use, and prefer the narrowest permissions that do the job. Actions that send data out or change something ask for your approval first.
