Why settings matter

Settings help Mibyan understand how you prefer to work. They do not replace the details you provide in each request, but they can make recurring outputs more consistent.

Profile information

Keep your profile information accurate so your account and workspace are easier to manage. Depending on the available sign-in method, this may include your name, email, phone number, or basic account details.

Work preferences

Preferences are useful for recurring instructions. Add preferences that should apply often, not one-time project details. Good examples:
  • “Prefer clear executive summaries before detailed sections.”
  • “Use concise, practical language.”
  • “When writing in Arabic, use modern standard Arabic unless I ask otherwise.”
  • “For business plans, include assumptions, risks, and next steps.”
  • “For spreadsheets, make columns easy to copy into Excel.”
  • “For landing pages, prioritize mobile readability.”
Avoid preferences that are too broad:
  • “Make everything good.”
  • “Always be professional.”
  • “Write a lot.”
Instead, explain what “good”, “professional”, or “detailed” means for your work.

When to update settings

Update your settings when:
  • Your preferred writing style changes.
  • You start using Mibyan for a different type of work.
  • You notice repeated output issues.
  • You want a consistent default tone.
  • Your team adopts a shared documentation or presentation style.

Settings versus prompt details

Use settings for stable preferences. Use the prompt for project-specific context.
For most business writing, start with a concise executive summary and then provide detailed sections.

Security and privacy habits

  • Do not paste passwords or secret keys into prompts.
  • Avoid sharing private customer data unless it is necessary and permitted.
  • Remove sensitive details before exporting or sharing generated work.
  • Review important outputs before sending them outside your organization.
If Mibyan keeps producing outputs in a style you do not like, update your preferences and then give one concrete example of the style you want.
