# Usage and logs

> Trace requests, tokens, estimated cost, latency, and errors

Usage summarizes request volume, input and output tokens, and estimated cost. Logs provide Request ID, endpoint, model, HTTP status, streaming state, token counts, latency, and error code.

Message content is not stored in the request ledger by default.

When contacting support, provide the `req_...` Request ID, timestamp, endpoint, and HTTP status. Never send the API key.
